Spider-Man: Homecoming
Review by Ross Anthony

I love the opening. Jon Favreau (happy) takes the teenage mocking with a straight face, as Peter Parker V-blogs his Stark "Internship" -- very funny. Unfortunately, the making of the super villain is bit rough and less convincing. Of course, it's fun to see Keaton again in the comic book movie world, even if he's the bad guy this time. He does a fine job, channeling Jack Nicholson on occasion.

But I did find the interactions with Iron Man too sparce (given the trailer), and I would have liked a little more character development for Peter – especially since Tom Holland does a spectacular job acting without the suit (reminded me of Jamie Bell in Billy Elliot). Btw, Holland (an English actor) maintains a spot-on New York accent.

Visually pretty amazing, loved the Washington Monument sequence which sported strong scripting, shooting, and editing.

It can also stand for "Really Awkward Nutty Dinosaurs" -- which is quite rand, isn't it?) Being alive is the miracle.
