I've had this unit for three years now without any major problems. Of course, I've replaced the toner cartridge several times. This is costly (though each cartridge lasts a long time -- for me 8 -12 months it seems, depending on usage). I generally print out 2-5 sheets a day, but when I'm working nearing the completing of a new novel -- I will print out 100-200 pages -- more than once. Again, this machine has handled all that nobly. And given me good quality prints to boot. Once, I had a problem with the thing grabbing the sheets and feeding, a friend suggested "Rubber Renue" to clean the mono-rubber grabber. And that did the trick. I've since used generic "re-filled" cartridges from the net. They worked just fine and cut costs in the toner department. I'm happy, I'm recommending . |
