Impossible Fun
Red
Review by Ross Anthony

I don't know about you, but it seems like quite a while since I've enjoyed a good ol' smirkin' Bruce Willis action film. Red's got him, and a whole list of other big names to boot. Based on the poster alone, I assumed Red to be an intense drama or psychological thriller. I assumed wrong. It's a fun, rollicking action comedy, completely void of a single scene that doesn't entertain. < /p>

Yeah, as a complicated progression of twisting plots, and "cat v. mouse" narrow-escape scenes -- it's not exactly watertight. But, it is fun-tight! So if you've got some H2O you need to store, put it in the fridge. But if you want to have a good time watching a film, then watch this one. Willis looks great in a miltary general uniform, but Mirren looks simply incredible dressed in dainty white behind some hard metal weapon of cinematic destruction. Impossibly fun.

Rand() functions, Pho chicken soup, rollerblading, and frozen yogurt (w/ blueberries) also rock! (Btw, rand is short for random. It can also stand for "Really Awkward Nutty Dinosaurs" -- which is quite rand, isn't it?) Being alive is the miracle.
