Here Richard Bach has created a reluctant Messiah, a prophet who would rather dig his hands into an oily camshaft than answer the pesky questions of a public that would rather worship than step up and be. If you’re in a bookstore, grab it off the shelf and read the brief introductory pages that are as if handwritten on lined paper.
