Mom-Me Mom-Me
Freaky Friday
Review by Ross Anthony

Freaky Friday I remember my teenage sister raving about the original "Freaky Friday," back whenever that one was released. I didn't see it, thought the title was dumb.

I still think the title is dumb, but the movie is pretty darned funny. You'll laugh a lot. A strong pace, confusingly comedic performances by Curtis and Lohan, and a rich screenplay keep this role-switching film hopping. Oh, and some warm fuzzies are woven in for good measure, the climax might even choke you up a bit.

Only improvements? The Jake resolve made little sense, and the build immediately prior to climax felt forced. Easily forgivable for a night full of laughs and perspective.
