Who needs a reasonable plot when the ride is so much fun? After not being taken by the trailers, I enjoyed Reynolds’ Deadpool (1 & 2) a few weeks back - and they won me over. That timing was perfect prep for this film. Even without Hugh Jackman (who is always awesome), I was up for a third Deadpool. But add Logan/Wolverine/Jackman to anything and you’re going to get rewarded. Not PC, Not very solid in the story department, but very funny, and yes, gory, but gory in a humorous way. |
