George Brant Interview
Into the Breeches!
Interview by Ross Anthony

intothebreeches I spoke with playwright George Brant to the background sounds of Midwestern birds a few weeks before the Long Beach opening of Into the Breeches! at International City Theatre. Click the play button just below to listen to that interview.

From the Press Release: Into the Breeches! is a hilarious and moving WWII story about what happens when we’re all in it together. Sweetened by comedic and tender moments, the women soldier their way through rehearsals, longing for word from their missing loved ones while finding humor and heart in their endeavor. Directed by Brian Shnipper, performances take place June 9 through June 25.

International City Theatre (at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center) is walking distance from Shoreline Village. Go early and enjoy the day strolling the shoreline, visiting the aquarium, circling the lighthouse, enjoying the view of the Queen Mary. So much to see, all within walking distance. Research your parking options before you go.
