Give Me Liberty is shot and edited with crisp effective accuracy, despite some grainy camera images. The pace is perfect, diligently cranking up the tension to achieve a one-train-wreck after another mood. Be prepared, this is not a film to sit back, relax, and escape the difficulties of everyday life. It's the exact opposite.
The acting is strong and direction hard hitting. If you're looking for a film that concentrates the grit and complications of an urban care taker into 2 hours that plays more like a dramatized documentary than a fictionalized drama - check it out.
