Going Beatty
Town and Country
Review by Ross Anthony

Like Beatty and Keaton's problematic marriage, "Town and Country" struggles for commitment. More than just a few sparkling moments string together like Christmas tree lights, almost lighting the wires between.

Essentially, a wacky, klunky, less-than-average story line about adultery (mainly Beatty's) is scored with excellent dialogue, then brought to life by extremely talented actors. Mostly a comedy.

Oh how I enjoy Gary Shandling! And Chuck Heston rocks in his brief appearances.
