Thunderbolts*
The New Avengers
Review by Ross Anthony

Hey, I really enjoyed this! Anchored and propelled by the mighty acting force that is Florence Pugh. Thunderbolts* gets into the nitty gritty dark parts of all of us. Hopefully, most of us don't host as deep dark pasts as these super-powered characters, but the metaphor still works.

If you're looking for an entertaining kick in the butt aimed at jettisoning your mood out of that sad cycle of regret, then give Thunderbolts* a try.

The art direction is splendid and the story compels. Not for one moment was I bored. The film completely drew me in and held me. Sure, here and there I raised an eyebrow at an unlikely turn, but just as fast Thunderbolts* grabbed me right back into its wonderful world of fantastical drama that nonetheless beat with a heart very similar to mine and yours.

If you're fond of the native American story of "Two Wolves," you'll be particularly interested in Thunderbolts*. (And Visa Versa).

Btw, Lewis Pullman plays "Bob." I only mention that as a thin segue to tell you about "Lessons in Chemistry" in which he also stars. If you like a smart, beautifully shot series with a strong female lead, check that out on Apple. I enjoyed it.
