This is a beautiful, poetic, artistic, self-reflective documentary on the adventure and miracle that is common to us all - the experience of birth to death.

Interviewing the newest "Oldest Person in the World" (according to Guinness) gives the film pretense, a hook, and a bit of a road map. However, the director follows tangents from his own life that bring wider perspective to the topic of hand and make the film very personal and more of a rumination on life than simply a curiosity on people who live well into their centurion teens.

This was shot over the course of a decade. The director hopes that it will continue to be shot and adapted even after his own demise. I enjoyed it and am happy to recommend it as an artistic expression that inspires us to remember and appreciate the miracle we are now experiencing.
